My Students

My school is in the Moore Public School District in central Oklahoma. I am currently starting my fifth year of teaching and have 25 amazing students I see each day. They come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds and have various academic abilities. My students are eager to learn, and nothing holds them back from trying new things. They are eager to learn each day when they enter my classroom, and I do my best to instill knowledge through a variety of methods. They love hands on activities and working in pairs to solve problems. These students are amazing and deserve to have the tools they need to succeed in their journey of learning.

My Project

This project would help me purchase games that my students can play at teacher table with me or in small groups. It is a fun way for students to practice what they are learning in the form of a game and not a worksheet and paper. Students will have so much fun playing these games and will learn the concepts quickly. Second grade is a year of learning new and exciting things. I like to find ways that are engaging and fun for my students. They love anything that is hands on so this is the perfect supplies for them to use!
