Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at a small country school. Our students are mostly made up of the farm, dairy, and crop owners' and workers' children. A big part of them come from other states or countries to work in the vibrant agricultural area.
While small schools do not receive as much funding as larger schools, the students shouldn't be short-changed.
My kids are hardworking students who deserve a quality education!
My Project
We are not allowed to play outside on the playground this year due to Covid 19. With the weather getting nice, my kids keep asking to go outside and play.
If you have ever been in a kindergarten classroom, you know how much kids love to dig.
The sand exploration table will be a great asset to our class. It can be used indoors or out.
My kids will have a great time meeting their gross motor skills standards while playing with the ring toss game, the beanbag game and the bouncy balls.
