My students need more active and engaging activities to reach their goals such as phonics games, comprehension activities, and alphabet practice cards.
The primary students in our school are a vibrant set of students that will make you smile with their acceptance of the smaller pleasures in life. They don't demand a whole lot from life, but definitely deserve a lot from life.
My students are currently working on group skills as well as social skills so I am hoping to teach them these necessary skills in partnership with vital reading skills for a well-rounded educational experience.
Learning should be fun.
My Project
My students are very active and need to be highly engaged. I am hoping to capture their attention through hands-on interactive games to teach them new concepts and practice them to mastery.
Games are a very important part of a school day as students learn to take turns, problem solve, and share.
I also believe that games are a great way to teach not only responsibility, but also to develop leaders and valuable discussion among all students. The phonics, comprehension, and alphabet practice games that we are requesting will help students build learning skills in a fun and engaging manner allowing them to safely practice and explore reading concepts as well as apply them in context environments. The addition of these games to our classroom will allow me, the teacher, to further scaffold and differentiate the learning for each and every child.
Many children in my classroom have both parents working and the days are busy with daily chores leaving little time for games and group skill building.
