My 17 pre-k students are energetic, outgoing, and hands on! They love playing in dramatic play, painting, and experimenting. Playing and learning at the same time is a win-win for everyone.
I aim to develop a learning environment in which children are motivated and able to learn.
Most of the children in my class have not been exposed to academic or age appropriate social activities. I strive to expose them in different ways to learn, not only academically, but also independently.
All of us love to play! How exciting is it to know that children are learning as they play. The Lego table is a great way to practice counting, learning shapes as we build them, learning different colors, and wonderful to build independently.
Children learn best through play!
The circle time learning center is a great way to start off the day. All in one spot is the date, weather, days of the week, colors, shapes, rhyming words, and numbers to count. This calendar will allow for students to move and discuss the different activities daily. I absolutely love how there's so much to learn in a fun way.
