This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love being able to provide each student a safe place where they can talk about how they are feeling, things that are causing them distress and a place they know that they are valued and cared for.
Being able to play games, where they can process how they are feeling, provide them fidgets that help them with their anxiety and give them mindfulness and coping skills learned from the books is just some ways I can help each student in my school.
I work with students who are unable to receive services any other way, then at school due to their low-income households.
