My Project
Please help give my students playground equipment and a cart to store it in to help fill in the social and emotional learning gaps caused by the pandemic. The pandemic took its toll on everyone and most especially our young learners. They did not have the opportunity to learn how to play with friends or practice interacting with others in verbal and nonverbal ways.
Organized play will help them learn vital social and emotional skills to participate in a group atmosphere. Practicing these skills in a safe learning environment will allow my students to overcome social awkwardness and teach them how to interact with others in a fun way!
