My Students

My students come to school excited and ready to learn everyday! My classroom is composed of twenty-five kindergartners from a variety of backgrounds. I have students who are learning the alphabet and students who are ready to begin reading. I love to see the joy on their face when they are reading books with their favorite characters in them. Hearing their excitement about reading is the best part of being a kindergarten teacher. They are so eager to learn everyday!

My Project

My students are lucky enough to get an extra 20 minutes of recess time during the school day. We only have access to a tiny playground that 150 kindergarten students have to share on a daily basis during recess. The students come to school eager to learn and excited to have fun with their friends during play time. We need the basketball hoop, balls, and games for the students to learn easy playground games.

Best of all this playground equipment will help build their hand eye coordination and help them learn to take turns!

My students will love all these new activities for the playground!
