it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our dull, outdated playground needs a serious makeover for our school's youngest and most vulnerable learners. The playground space is used by 100 students from a transitional kindergarten, a special education kindergarten, and 2 general education kindergarten classrooms. It serves students ages 3-6 with a variety of abilities and needs.
Our current playground is not set up nor equipped to provide our most vulnerable and youngest learners an engaging space for whole body exercise, social skills practice, large motor skills playtime, and imaginative play - and they deserve and engaging place to play, learn and grow.
