My students need playground balls to use during recess and a pump to keep them aired-up!
My students attend a country school in the shadow of a major metropolitan city.
They enjoy challenges and collaborative projects, which fuel most of my curriculum. They only get two short recesses and it has come to my attention that we are always short on playground balls.
My Project
I'm requesting twelve playground balls, an air pump and extra needles. This should last my students the rest of the year and supply next year's class with a good set of used balls. My students like to play a game that is similar to foursquare. When we run out of balls they tend to just mope around. Please help them stay active!
If you were to ask my students, most would tell you that having playground balls is something that matters a lot to them.
It matters to me too because I want them to enjoy recess and burn energy. This is the least we can do.
