My Project
Toys and manipulatives like building blocks, counting bears, and imaginative toys support the development of critical skills such as problem-solving, spatial awareness, and fine motor abilities while making learning interactive and enjoyable.
This will allow students to enjoy hands-on activities and collaborative play, which not only makes learning more fun but also helps build social connections and emotional well-being.
I want to create an enjoyable, inviting atmosphere that supports students' academic growth while addressing their need for a positive and interactive classroom experience.
This is these Kindergarteners' first full year of school after being affected by the 2023 Lahania fires.
KK III ES was directly affected by the fires that happened a year ago. As their teacher, I would love to be able to fill my classroom with toys and manipulatives to not only foster learning, but allow them to distract themselves from any hardships they have faced, or currently face at home.
