This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for support for my 2nd grade classroom.

Our students are eager learners, and I believe that enriching their background knowledge of the world is crucial for their development.

With your help, I aim to provide a collection of diverse books that will ignite their curiosity and broaden their understanding of different cultures, ideas, and experiences. These books will not only enhance their literacy skills but also foster empathy and global awareness—qualities that are essential in today’s interconnected world.

Additionally, on days when outdoor recess isn’t possible, I want to ensure that my students have engaging toys and activities to keep their spirits high and their minds active. These resources would make a significant difference in maintaining their enthusiasm for learning and play, even indoors. Your generous donations can help create a vibrant and stimulating environment where every child feels inspired and supported. Together, we can make a lasting impact on these young learners and help them grow into informed and compassionate individuals.
