My Project
My students are multilingual learners who range in age from Pre-K to 8th grade. Their language proficiency ranges from beginner to advanced. They are curious and motivated to learn. My students love playing games and are often unaware that they are practicing English and improving their literacy. Games help beginner-level students build language skills and confidence in an informal, fun way. At the same time, games are great for advanced students because they are engaging and promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The goal is to get my students speaking, reading, asking questions, and listening to English as much as possible each time I see them.
Using games as a learning tool will accomplish that goal.
