My Project
Play is crucial for school-age children as it supports their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Imaginative play encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity while enhancing memory, language, and reasoning skills.
Play also supports academic learning through hands-on experiences while teaching cooperation, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
Play also helps children develop empathy and communication skills while building positive peer relationships. Play is not just a break from learning—it is a vital part of learning. These items, such as the sensory toys, the toddler toys, and markers, will provide opportunities to enrich imaginative play while my students are learning how to communicate and work with their peers.
