Right now our school does not have a designated space for meeting a child's sensory needs. My students' sensory needs are not met by the normal day to day activities of school. A trampoline will offer a means of gaining appropriate sensory input in a safe manner. Fidget toys will engage their hands and minds in order to assist their focus for daily learning activities. The diverse culture and specific needs of our school are not easily met in the general education classroom. Offering a specific location for these items will help to engage them in a calm and safe environment, regulate their bodies and ease anxiety throughout the day.
