Help me give my students the musical equipment to play more music together. Covid has driven a wedge between many of our young performers. We need to get them back together, experimenting, writing and performing music.

My Project

We have fabulous musicians at our school. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, many of them are not used to playing music together. Having a fellow musician onstage can take much of the anxiety out of performing, and with these materials, more students will be able to play, rehearse, and perform together. These kinds of shared experiences are at the heart of SEL (social and emotional learning).

Music is about sharing.

Students want to share the stage, but they need practice, encouragement, and materials. Singing is an especially intimate kind of performance, and many students need to experience this with the support of their peers in a group.
