This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very creative and love to express themselves. In primary grades the it is very important to incorporate play into their school experience. It builds social skills, allows for necessary brain breaks, and improves their relationship to school.

These toys will help me give my students these opportunities for dramatic play in my classroom.

I teach at a title one school where my students may not have these play and pretend opportunities at home. Having a variety of choices will ensure that they are always excited to come to school.
