My Students
I work at a Title I school that has students from various socio-economic backgrounds. 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch daily due to the majority of students who need free breakfast and lunch.
I love my students because they try their hardest, no matter what is happening outside of school in their world.
My students love to read, write, and really love a good science project. Their imaginations are vivid and it is so refreshing to be in a classroom with them.
My Project
This recess equipment will help my students in team building, as well as general physical fitness. On the days when we are not on the playground, my students love to play ball, jump rope, or race each other chasing the scarfs in the wind.
Playtime is so crucial for creative minds and this equipment will help my students come up with some creative games to play.
The balls will help with team building among the groups playing with them. It will also help these young minds learn that they need to be on teams, and share the balls as a team would. The scarfs and jump ropes are for the creative students. They love to come up with new games to play with them.
