My Project
Now that school has been in session for almost two months I've gotten to know my students - their likes and interests, what excites and challenges them. The items in this project are tailored to my students.
High-interest toys and materials are motivating and encourage longer use, helping children develop their attention span and problem solving skills.
The items in this project like the DUPLO people, outdoor kit and other materials will be used in the classroom to support fine motor development, math concepts, language development, cognitive development, and engagement with teacher-led tasks. Social-emotional learning is ever-present as children learn to ask for help, take turns with another child, or persist through the challenges of using something new.
