Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a school with amazing students. They want to learn and explore the world around them. Our school is filled with fantastic staff and families, but we are a school with a lot of needs. With 98% of our students qualifying for free or reduced price lunch, 6% homeless/migrant, and 53% of students are considered minority. We have a lot of need, but even more heart. I am asking for dolls, dough tools, a doll house and other resources.

Play is considered the work of kids and I want my students to have the opportunity to learn through play.

Teamwork, relationship building, and role play helps students make sense of the world around them.
