Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I recently found out that I will be teaching Pre-K next year. I would love to have these items in order for me to create dramatic play centers to practice skills that will help new to school 4 year olds.

Children learn so much through play, such as social skills, gross and fine motor skills, vocabulary, and problem solving to name a few.

These items will drastically help when creating a safe and welcoming school environment. I want all students to look forward to coming to school and have fun while still learning.

We are completing our 2nd year, as a new school we do not have many resources available. The play kitchen, high chair and other play items will allow us to have something they can consistently use on a daily basis during center time, that allows them to interact with each other and grow the skills needed to thrive.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
