My Project

I believe in the power of play! Students love playing instruments, and what is more fun than beating their hearts out on a drum? It is motivating and fun to play large drums. Students love making music and tubano drums have a great low and deep sound to make their music making interesting and powerful. Playing percussion instruments encourage students to be active music makers. Instruments help to create a classroom where kids want to be. It is important to me that my students enjoy coming to class and know that our classroom is a place I want them to be and the ​place they are invited to share their talents.

Help our students play to the beat of their own drum!

My students are eager to learn new skills and actively participate. These drums will help to give students hands-on-learning. These will help the students accompany their singing in songs and they will learn to play numerous rhythmic compositions. These musical instruments can naturally be integrated into the things we already do in the classroom such as singing, moving, and dancing, dramatizing stories, and playing music games. They will also be great to add a nice beat to our school song! My goal is for all students to have multiple opportunities and a variety of ways to learn music. This will help provide new musical opportunities for our students!
