My students need Play-Doh mats to learn how to make letters and numbers.
This project expired on August 8, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Ours is a Title I school located in Kansas. The majority of our students are on a free or reduced-price lunch plan and many are English Language Learners. Though these kids might not have everything that others do, they come to school with great attitudes and minds like sponges that are ready to soak up any learning opportunity that is thrown their way.
Some of the students are homeless.
There are a lot of special needs students at the school. The neighborhood in which the school resides was hit by a tornado a few years ago. Some of the students live with grandparents or in single parent homes. A lot of the parents are unemployed due to the recession and the economy.
The students need play doh mats to learn letters and numbers. When learning letter and numbers the children need different ways of learning them. It is good to learn with pencil and paper. Using play doh mats gives them another means of learning. The kids will use the play doh mats with companions, individually, and in small groups.
The play doh mats will increase the student's knowledge of numbers and letters.
Learning should be fun. Using play doh mats will make learning numbers and letters fun for the children. This will bring all of the learning together. Please help the kids.
