We go into our Morning Meeting/Circle Time. Then we transition into Language Arts for 2 hours, then to Math. Next is lunch and recess. We then have SS and Science for an hour, before we go to PE for an hour and thirty minutes. Then we come back and finish SS and Science. Then we have centers.
My students come from Low SES families.
They are all six years old, and have the potential to be great! My students sometimes lack the ability to hold expectations. This is a working progress. We are a small charter school, and our class is only sixteen! Some of my students do have behavioral issues, and we are always looking for new ways to improve.
My Project
We will use the Play-doh to help us spell out sight words and spelling words. My students are going to be able to have hands-on engagement in literacy. This will provide another learning style for my students, and they will be benefiting from this project in many ways. The shelf is so we have somewhere to put our lovely play-doh.
This project will provide my students with more ways of learning, by giving them multiple learning styles.
We will also be able to make letters and form words with the play-doh. This will be a great and interactive style of learning for such a young age.
