This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting four packages of multi-colored Play Doh for our PreK classroom. We use Play Doh every day, so we go through a lot of it during the year. We use it for forming letters, numbers, shapes, and words. We also use it for addition and subtraction and counting.

Not only is the Play Doh used for academic purposes, but we also use it during free play when we create masterpieces using their imaginations!

The students have a wonderful time using the Play Doh for both learning and play! It also is a great tool to use for practicing their fine motor skills!
