This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Feeling and showing empathy are critical skills for success in relationships, work, and life. They develop throughout childhood and into adulthood and can be fostered through nurturing relationships and playful moments.

My goal is to help build and develop compassion though with these playing board games.

We need these strategic board games.

While gaining empathy is a developmental task that unfolds over time, we can intentionally support its growth through loving, nurturing interactions and playful moments. During play, children take on roles, try out scenarios, solve imaginary problems, and conquer fears.
