My Project

This year my team feels passionate about providing more opportunities to learn through play-based methods. In our classroom, our students function at different developmental levels. By using these play-based learning resources, we can modify and adapt our instruction to meet student needs while also teaching our grade-level curriculum.

The resources and activities on this list will touch many different areas such as math, phonics, and social skills.

We use a social skills curriculum by Diane Alber, called A Little Spot of Feelings. Our social skills curriculum will be enhanced by adding these additional games and social skills books to continue to develop overall social-emotional learning.

Student engagement and participation will increase when we utilize these hands-on learning activities to enhance our curriculum. Thank you for considering supporting our students!
