This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will help us bring the element of play into our program. Children gain more from engaging in open-ended and intentional centers that allow them to have autonomy. Let's empower young children to take their learning into their own tiny hands. The items here, such as the bread and fruit toy basket, the Melissa & Doug pretend play sets, the work belt and tool set, and baby dolls will give them the opportunity to develop social skills while practicing conflict resolution skills. The magnetic building blocks, wooden train toys, and tracks will allow our students to develop fine motor and critical thinking skills. Play-based learning for young children is the highest quality of learning we can give them.
