This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love small group time where we spend time discussing feelings. We journal and use play dough to express emotions and check in. My young learners need play dough and dry erase boards. Our journals are great but are full and no money to replace them. I want my students to continue sharing and checking in on their feelings. The wipe boards and markers will be used daily to write. The play dough is the magic our students use to strengthen fingers and create everything and anything. Rolling, cutting, molding, squishing and transforming it to represent their imagination. It’s fun and easy to use. The little ones simply need these tools to learn and enjoy (SEL) small group time. I applaud your kindness and thank you for helping my students.
