This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hungry learners. They love spending time reading and listening to book readings. They also enjoy watching theatre plays. We love to dance! Movement is a big part of our daily routine! They have a big heart and they are also kind and aware of their special peers. They always come to class with a big smile, ready to start the day, which is very inspirational! My school is located in the Mission district in San Francisco, CA.

My Project

We are excited to start this new school year because we finally will be in person in the school! One of my goals, as a teacher, is to try to make the math approach fun and enjoyable for the students in order to help them to be successful in the classroom.

Please help us to get a series of math materials for the students to learn while they play.

With your donation, we will be able to have math centers, like addition board, magnetic puzzles, counting animals, engineer board that will help students to learn strategies to resolve math problems; with these materials, students will understand connections between counting and addition and subtraction.
