This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students science unit is titled Plants and Animals relationships, part of their study is to understand how plants grow in different habitats. We just simply need materials. We need the mini greenhouse and the grow lights to experience different ways plants grow. This will enhance my students learning in many meaningful ways. These materials will provide an opportunity to observe, learn, test, analyze and record. Students will expand their understanding of plant and animal interdependence . Students become familiar with science and engineering practices as they make science drawings and design models to simulate seed dispersal and carry out investigations of plant and animal needs.
