Help me give my students more greenery and plants in their school library.

My Project

I re-opened a school library that's a large and open space with a huge wall of windows. The design of the library is wonderful but it hasn't had any love (aesthetically) in a decade. It also has harsh fluorescent lighting on one side. Students would benefit from a softer and more relaxing study area.

I'd like to add plants to the large space to create a warmer environment where students can relax and work.

I started the school year bringing in dozens of my own live plants, but have realized the challenges of caring for these over long breaks and in the huge range in temperatures our old heating system produces. I'd like to add some artificial plants alongside the live plants. Plants truly make a difference in the environment and I hope to increase the number of students that choose to work in this space.
