Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am proud to teach at the school my daughter attends as well. This is a low income school where kids do not have the opportunity to have their own garden or backyard.

I would like to start a community garden where families are involved with their child's environment and classroom. These bulbs will help our school look beautiful overnight as we plant them with other classrooms as well.

Once these beginning bulbs are planted a community garden will start to be at the center of the entire school going through an environmental change. We will then be able to tackle other areas with environmental landscaping projects

Your donation will make a difference in my life, my students and their families lives. They will proud of the flower they were able to plant with their buddy classroom and parent. This will create the kind of school that can model how one project changed lots of people overnight.
