This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These Grow and Glow STEM kits will make a difference in my students’ learning by developing awareness of how precious nature is. It will help them connect to their environment. When students are able to see the effort and care needed to grow plants, they develop a sense of ownership for these living things. In addition, it helps them develop a love for learning and discovery.

My goals for this project are for students to explore how seeds create food for humans and animals.

Students will learn the life cycle of a plant. Lastly, students will learn what plants need to grow.

What makes my students special is that they come from diverse backgrounds and use their strengths to support one another. They are also very compassionate. Furthermore, they have learned to have a growth mindset.
