Planting the Seeds of Learning

My Students

Whenever people walk into our Pre-K classes you can't help but smile. Our students at this age are so eager to learn and are so excited about everything new. Everything is a new experience and new learning adventure for them!

"Play is the highest form of research!" We truly believe in Albert Einstein's quote.

Students in our classrooms learn through play and hands on experiences. For many of our students this is their first experience in a school setting and we are trying to instill the love of learning.

My Project

We want to bring our love of learning outside the classroom through planting and gardening! We plan to make a garden on our rooftop playground. The students will learn responsibility of taking care of living things and the importance of plants. They will learn nutrition and how we use plants to eat and grow. They will discover and use scientific inquiry through hands on experiences of how plants grow!

With your help, my students will get to experience learning through our environment!

Students will have the responsibility of caring for their little seeds and helping them grow into plants. Throughout this process students will learn math, science, nutrition and much more that will carry with them throughout their lives.
