Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to plant seeds. Over time, students will be able to see these seeds sprout. Students will see how to care for seedlings and continue to attend to the plant's need with sun, soil, and water. Students will learn about the plant science of how a seed will grow and what to do as it outgrows it's starter pot. We will also discuss the importance of using a good soil. These students will greatly appreciate the opportunity to participate in an enriching activity like planting seeds.
