This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a prek-8 school and I am lucky enough to have taught years and years of gardening to our students. As we continue to grow and expand, we continue to need large planters for our students.
As a diverse and strong school here in Baltimore, we strive to give out students a well-rounded experience.
Gardening and outdoor spaces are so important for our young learners. Again and again, what they ask for is more time outside and in the garden. My dream is to have an outdoor space for classes to learn and play.
