After our school was flooded and we lost everything, we are trying to help our students rebuild their lives. Building a solid foundation, preparing the ground, planting the seeds, and caring for the plants will help them to focus on life and process difficult emotions.
Providing opportunities for our students to grow alongside their plants will help the healing process as well as learning to live a healthy lifestyle and how to provide nourishment.
Students will be able to create and maintain a flower garden to beautify our school and also provide vegetables for our school lunches with your generous donations. The Raised Garden Kit, greenhouse, flower pots and other supplies will start the foundation for gardening that will grow many years into the future.
