This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These STEM resources will play a crucial role in bringing STEM learning to life in our classroom, and we’re excited to put them to good use.

The blocks will be used to engage students in hands-on learning experiences, allowing them to explore key concepts in engineering, architecture, and design.

Through building structures, creating models, and solving design challenges, students will strengthen their understanding of basic physics, geometry, and spatial reasoning. Blocks will also encourage teamwork and creative problem-solving as students collaborate on projects.

The books will support our STEM curriculum by introducing students to inspiring figures and innovations in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These books will also be used for reading comprehension, research projects, and group discussions, helping students connect what they read to their own experiments and hands-on activities. The books will spark curiosity and provide valuable insights into the world of STEM.

The STEM daily question cards will be a fantastic way to kickstart each day with thought-provoking questions that engage students in critical thinking and problem-solving. These cards will challenge students to apply their STEM knowledge in creative ways, encouraging them to think like scientists, engineers, and innovators. By incorporating these cards into daily routines, students will regularly practice their observation skills, hypothesis formation, and logical reasoning.

Together, the blocks, books, and STEM daily question cards will create a dynamic learning environment where students can explore, question, and experiment with the principles that shape our world. These resources will help foster a deeper understanding of STEM concepts while encouraging collaboration, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
