Plant Grow Station Nook

Help me give my students an incredible grow station. This will give them the opportunity to care for another living thing while also learning about the life cycles of a plant.

My Project

There are many benefits to plants. As we explore more benefits of plants we want the kids to have the opportunity to grow their own plant from seed in an inviting workspace. We have a perfect space for a kitchen nook to be our grow station. It's amazing what a small space devoted to gardening can do for both teachers and students gardening experience. Once the plants have grown students can display their green thumb skills while improving the classroom environment not only visually but but with all the benefits plants bring. There has been evidence as well that say plants help lower stress and anxiety, while also increasing creativity.
