This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I applied to run our schools first Horticultural Club at our newly built High School. My vision is to not only teach students about the gardening process but to also fill the school with plants and colorful flowers.

Receiving tools, soil, Durable Green House Kit with Window, and supplies needed to sustain a green house and school garden will really help kick off our first year of Horticultural Club!

Right now we are starting from scratch. I have limited supplies of my own that I will bring in to help get things started but any and all supplies received will without a doubt help spark what I hope will continue our club for years to come.
