My Project

My little school, nestled against the Appalachian Mountains, is a high need, low income school. We are a full Title 1 school. This coming school year, I'd like to be able to start my students off with all their school supplies. Doing this will ease some of the financial strain that families worry about as their children go back to school.

When students have the exact same supplies to starts the school, no one is set apart as having more or less than anyone else. It decreasing anxiety for those children that usually don't have supplies, which makes them feel inferior.
