This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Planners are so crucial for student success. Planning and goal setting are also life skills that will help all of our students going forward. These planners will give students a sense of order to create organization and better communication. With these planners being a part of the classroom experience, students are more likely to keep track of their assignments and set personal goals. I hope these planners also help with enhancing communication between parents and teachers.

The organization does not come quickly to most students, but having these planners will be so helpful to all of them.

Student planners provide an easy and creative method of taking note of their commitments and deadlines. It gives them a systematic approach to recording the necessary information daily. Student planners allow students to keep track of their goals. They can use the planner to write down their to-do lists and goals. This has a dual benefit in that it increases the students' accountability to the commitments planned and provides a structure that contributes to their success. Planners also serve as an excellent line of communication between students, parents, and teachers.
