Planet Protector Projects

My Project

My students love art. They also enjoy science. But they struggle with reading and writing.

Help me provide students with environmental science books, totes, bags, and T-shirts so they can create their own planet protector projects.

Reading for class is boring, but reading for a purpose makes reading less of a chore and more of a means to gather information.

Students will learn about the environmental problems plaguing our planet. They will research their topic by reading books and online sources, using their seed pencils to take note. Then they will share what they have learned by designing reusable bags, totes, and T-shirts with art and facts. Once their pencils become too short to be used, they will plant their seed pencils in the school garden.
