My Students
My students love Math, but need more creative, hands-on ways of learning.
I have 22 bright, creative first grade students who love to share what they have learned.
They love to learn and engage in fun ways of learning. Unfortunately, we are in a Title One school and the resources are limited. The students would love to have more creative tools to enhance their learning.
My Project
By using Place Value manipulatives, the students will be able to work hands on with their classmates. They can take what they have learned in class, and show their work in a more visual, appealing way. The students will be able to wok in smaller, guided groups with the teacher.
By having Place Value manipulatives, the students will be able to show their work in a different way.
As their teacher, I will be able to quickly assess who has grasped the concept and form smaller groups for learning.
