This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Pixel Family Project will offer a hands-on, engaging experience that introduces families to the concepts of binary numbers and pixels, fundamental elements in computer science. During our Computer Science night, families will collaborate to create a school-wide mosaic, reinforcing these concepts in a fun and memorable way.
This project aligns with our goal of making computer science accessible and enjoyable for all, fostering curiosity and creativity.
Our students are special because they thrive in interactive and collaborative environments, and this project will allow them to shine alongside their families. This project will not be just for the family night, but will also be used in multiple grades as an unplugged way to talk about pixel imaging.
