Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Weight Lifting Class has 3 sections where students learn the many benefits of the weight room from our Athletic Director. We have been upgrading our weight room to support both our student-athletes after school and these classes for juniors and seniors. We fundraised for additional equipment earlier in the year, partnered with our district to remove some outdated platforms and are now close to reaching our goals! Please consider supporting the purchases of these barbells, bumper plates, fitness bands and more!

We look forward to continuing to compete at a high level as an athletic department, and growing our already impressive elective weight lifting program.
