My Project
Tricycles offer young children a fun and engaging way to learn and develop essential physical, cognitive, and social skills that are foundational for their future growth and learning.
The goal for this project is to help our young students develop gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and spatial awareness.
Learning to ride a tricycle will teach them a sense of independence and mastery over their environment. It also provides opportunities for cooperative play, turn-taking, and sharing, fostering social skills and peer interactions.
Located in the southern rural area of San Antonio, MECC caters to a diverse population of PK and Kindergarten students, with a notable proportion coded as at-risk.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
