This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Physical Education students bring energy, curiosity, and an eagerness to move every single day. No matter their skill level or background, they show up ready to try, grow, and support one another. They love playing team games, learning new skills, and cheering each other on. What I love most is their ability to build confidence, resilience, and community through movement. For many of them, PE is the place where they feel most free, empowered, and successful.
With new barrier nets, I’ll be able to create clear, safe zones for different games and drills.
This will help students stay focused and organized during activities, especially in shared or open spaces. The pinnies will help us quickly divide into teams, making transitions smoother and saving valuable class time. Having these tools will allow us to run more inclusive, engaging, and structured games—ensuring that every student has a chance to participate, lead, and learn in a fun and meaningful way.
