Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach reading specialty including dyslexia. Students need to feel safe, secure, and successful while learning to adjust to their disability. "Pink out!" is my theme because it makes everyone laugh and have fun! Plus, it helps those with reading difficulties to focus on the strategies I am teaching them to use for not just reading but all core subjects. The pink folders are recognized as my dyslexia learning tools for the students to utilize in their mainstream classrooms.

The tools and items I requested will be used by the students to help them on their way to adjusting to reading difficulties related to their dyslexia.

These tools will be essential to their successes and help them feel at ease about their reading difficulties. Teachers and other staff members easily recognize the reading tools and items I provide my students.
