My Project
I am using the funds to purchase a ping pong table. I used previous funds to purchase a table and it did wonders for the class that got to use it. I am looking forward to purchasing another table so more students have an opportunity to play within the recess time frame that is only 15 minutes.
The ping pong table makes a huge difference in many aspects.
The ping pong table made a difference in classroom management, because everyone wanted to play ping pong and in order to do so, students needed to meet their behavior and academic goals. Aside from academics, the ping pong table brought the class together. There were many laughs that were had. Recess is such a short time frame. By adding a second table, I hope to give more students an opportunity to participate in this community building activity. The extra ping pong balls will be used because the students will get a lot of opportunity to play and naturally, balls will be broken and will need to be replaced. My students are special because they love learning, especially in a game type setting. I love when students are learning and they don't even realize it. The ping pong table will give my students an opportunity to learn in more ways than they know.
